I have read Anne Frank’s diary at least four times. The latest addition includes fascinating and worthwhile additional material unavailable when the diary was first published. If a newer, more complete edition comes out in the future I will read it again. Anne Frank’s gifted and detailed account of her and her Jewish family’s years of hiding from the Nazi’s during World War Two is as amazing and important as it is sad. Why read it? Because, it happened, and it should never happen again.
